This horn can be ordered in both solid colors and rainbows and come in lengths from 5″-12″. Though intended mainly for photo shoots, many customers use this horn for riding and pony parties due to the lower price and the appeal of near-invisible straps. Just remember that this horn is not meant for high levels of activity such as galloping and jumping. Misuse of the Natural-Look Horn in ways such as stretching the straps too hard or tying your pony with the horn on can result in breakages. It is also a little harder to put on than a Unicorn Browband, so if you run a pony party business or have trouble using small detailed items, we recommend that you use a Unicorn Browband instead of the Natural-Look Horn.

Leather Unicorn Browband

Best for: shows, parades, formal occasions, looking good everywhere you ride

The horn can be made of real leather or more economical faux-leather and retains the safety feature of being able to bend in accidents and collisions to avoid injuring people or horses. Resin & Plastic Unicorn Horns

Best for: shows, exhibitions, parades, films, experienced adult equestrians

At Wishpony.com we only recommend plastic unicorn horns for experienced adults or professional equestrians. We never recommend plastic horns for use around children or among the general public such as with city carriages or group rides. The reason for this is that a plastic horn can easily poke someone in the eye should the horse throw up his head in excitement or surprise. Horses driven or ridden side by side can also poke each others’ eyes with hard unicorn horns. And there is the extreme possibility of someone getting impaled by plastic horns during falls, collisions or accidents. We believe plastic horns should only be used by highly experienced adults for occasions such as riding exhibitions, parades (in single file), shows, film-making, photography (adults only), and other circumstances where your horse will not be in crowded places or offered to the public or kids for petting.
