Enjoy the organic feel of leather and a range of beautiful colors when you use our handmade halters. For those not inclined to frills and flowers, a leather halter lends sensible elegance to your equine photo shoots or special occasions and looks great with all of our unicorn horns. You also have the option of ordering a matching leather lead with your custom halter.
Our leather halters are individually made from scratch in a process that takes several days to complete. While we make economy halters available in beta biothane, you will feel an extra sense of luxury when you opt for real leather. Custom halters may take up to one month to complete depending on order volume.
Halter Sizing: For the best fit, please submit your horse or pony’s ideal noseband measurement at the time you order. It is recommended that you measure the noseband from a halter that fits your horse perfectly or measure around your horse’s nose while wearing a halter (put the measuring tape directly under the halter noseband to avoid measuring too low which would result in a tight halter).
Note for Unicorn Photgraphers: Our unicorn horns work best with halters that fit snugly. Do not overestimate halter sizing to avoid measuring or to share between horses who need different sizes. If any part of a halter swings or droops on the horse, it is too large and may not keep a unicorn horn stable.
Note on Hardware: Brass hardware may very slightly in appearance between different sizes so your hardware may not be identical to the product photo but the overall design will be consistent.
