Definition of "Business Days" as relates to order production and Expedited Services:

• Business days are Monday-Friday and do not include weekends and Federal/Postal Holidays.
• Orders placed after 4PM PST are considered received next business day (9AM PST).
• Service days are full business days from date & time of order receipt.
• Orders typically ship next business day after being completed.
  Example: 4 business days to make your item(s) and ship out on 5th business day.

Standard and Expedited Service times change during certain times of year according to order volume.

Custom orders are individually hand-made to your specifications after the order is received. Currently the standard service time for most custom items is 10 business days.

If you need a custom item rushed for a special event, we offer expedited services at an additional fee. Expedited service fees apply to each item to be rushed and are non-negotiable and non-refundable regardless of the number of items ordered. We therefore recommend placing your order as early as possible for your peace of mind and to avoid additional expense.

An Expedited Service Fee is –

The cost for us to re-arrange our production schedule, work overtime — often late into or through the night — in order to complete your items in time for your deadline.

An Expedited Service Fee is NOT –

The cost of expedited shipping. You will need to select Express Mail Shipping at checkout in order for your order to be shipped via an expedited shipping method. See below for more details on shipping.

Available Expedited Services

Because some orders are are slightly time-sensitive but not urgently so, we have implemented a tiered system of service options:

• Standard: 10 business days (most items -- a few items have a longer standard service time)
• Expedited: 4 or 5 business days (depending on item) before shipping
• Express: 3 business days before shipping
• Urgent: 2 business days before shipping

The fees vary depending on the complexity of the item to be made and increase with the level of urgency. A few of our more complex designs cannot be expedited; however, most are eligible.

Allow for Shipping Time

Expedited Custom Service is not Express Shipping.

Please select the Service and Shipping options necessary to meet your deadline. About 95% of Priority Mail shipments arrive in the estimated 2-3 days, but USPS does not guarantee this. For time-sensitive orders, Express Mail is strongly recommended.

For very urgent orders requiring faster delivery than the U.S. Postal Service can provide, you may contact us to arrange for UPS Next Day or 2nd Day Air.

Examples

Standard Service Order — if you select:

• Standard Service Option of 10 business days prior to shipping
• Priority Mail Shipping with an estimated delivery time of 2-3 business days

Then your order will arrive in approximately 13-15 business days.

Expedited Order — if you select:

• Urgent Serivce Option of 2 business days
• Express Shipping which takes 1-2 business days

Then your order will arrive in approximately 4-5 business days.*

* Depending on transit time to your zip code which can vary from 1-2 business days.

Please do not select the Standard Service option for a custom item and then request faster service in your order comments.

Urgent Orders Requiring Same-day Shipping

If you have an urgent order that requires same- or next-day shipping, please email us prior to placing your order to check if it will be possible. Factors that must be considered in such an event include the time we receive the order and the item to be shipped. Include your shipping address in your email so we can check all available shipping options.

Very urgent orders requiring same day shipping may need to be shipped via UPS Next or 2nd Day Air with a Same Day Pickup, incurring a higher shipping cost.

Why we charge an Expedited Service Fee

As mentioned above, all custom items are individually made to your specifications after we receive your order.

To be fair to all customers, orders are produced and shipped in the sequence in which they are received. We often must work overtime in order to complete and ship your items by your specified deadline without delaying the other orders in our queue.
