It is important that you make sure you select the appropriate custom service and shipping options to receive your order in time for an event. Please read this entire page and shipping policies before submitting your order.
What constitutes a custom order?
Any item labeled “Custom” or “Made to Order” in the title or where you select custom options (size, color, and other features) are custom orders. Custom orders are individually hand-made to your specifications after the order is received. To see the current custom order service times for an item, please go to the item’s page and click on the option menu under “Custom Order Processing Time.”
If you need a custom item rushed for a special event, we offer expedited services at an additional fee. Expedited service fees apply to each item to be rushed and are non-negotiable and non-refundable regardless of the number of items ordered. We therefore recommend placing your order as early as possible for your peace of mind and to avoid additional expense.
Due to increasing order volume, exact shipping dates of non-expedited orders cannot be guaranteed. If your order is time-sensitive, select an Expedited (Rush) Service Option when adding items to your shopping cart. Please do not select the Standard Service option for a custom item and request faster service in your order comments. If you do so, your order may be canceled (with payment transaction fees withheld from your refund) or we will bill you for expedited services before starting work on your order.

- Business days are Monday-Friday and do not include weekends and Federal/Postal Holidays (click here).
- Orders placed after 3PM EST are considered received next business day.
- Service days are full business days from date & time of order receipt.
- Orders typically ship next business day after being completed.
Note: Standard and Expedited Service times may change during certain times of year according to order volume.
Weekend/Holiday Processing Fees
If your order is urgent and requires us to sew on weekends and/or holidays in order to make your event date, please contact us to discuss the fees for Weekend/Holiday labor. The cost will be at minimum $60 per item to be made on a weekend or holiday.
Event/Photo Shoot Date
If you are ordering for an event, photo shoot, or a specific date, please be sure to include the date in your Order Notes. This way we can contact you if we feel that you need to upgrade your services in order to receive your order on time.
Why We Charge Rush Fees
As mentioned above, all custom items are individually made to your specifications after we receive your order. To be fair to all customers, orders are produced and shipped in the sequence in which they are received. We often must work overtime in order to complete and ship your items by your specified deadline without delaying the other orders in our queue.
An Expedited Service Fee is …
The cost for us to re-arrange our production schedule, work overtime — often late into or through the night — in order to complete your items in time for your deadline.
An Expedited Service Fee is NOT Express Shipping
You will need to select Express Shipping at checkout to have your order shipped via an Express Shipping method. See below for more details on shipping.
Available Expedited Services
Because some orders are are slightly time-sensitive but not urgently so, we have implemented a tiered system of service options. For most of the year, service options are as follow but may fluctuate during high volume seasons such as Halloween and Christmas.
The processing options and fees vary depending on the complexity of the item to be made and increase with the level of urgency. A few of our more complex designs cannot be expedited; however, most are eligible.
Priority Mail is not guaranteed
About 95% of Priority Mail shipments arrive in the estimated 2-3 days, but USPS does not guarantee Priority Mail delivery times. Occasionally, Priority Mail can take as long as 1-2 weeks to arrive (most likely due to routing errors at USPS sort facilities). If you choose Priority Mail instead of a rush shipping method, complaints about your order not arriving in time may result in your account being banned.
For time-sensitive orders, please choose FedEx 2Day or Overnight.
If it is imperative that an order arrive by a certain date, we strongly recommend choosing FedEx Overnight or 2 Day. Please see our Shipping Information page for details on FedEx services.
Signature Requirement on High Value Orders
Due to the amount of time and work it takes for us to make these items, a signature will be required upon delivery of orders of $300 or more. Therefore, be sure to allow time for re-delivery or pickup at the Post Office or FedEx location, or have your order shipped to a location where someone is present for delivery.
U.S. Postal Holidays
We observe the same federal holidays as the United States Postal Service (with the exception of the Friday following Thanksgiving), so please account for the following holidays when calculating custom service times.

- Thanksgiving Weekend – 4th Thursday of November + Following Friday
