This particular hat is made of beautiful soft red crushed Panne velvet trimmed with gold and complete with white pigtail and red satin ribbons. It stays on your dog's head with a thin elastic band under the chin. If you are buying this for a large dog, please give us his/her head circumference (around forehead and chin) so we can provide a long enough elastic band.
